Banana & peanut butter oat cookies

Search no more, come try out our oat cookies made with bananas and peanut butter with no artificial sugars added. These healthy oat cookies can be best served for breakfast, 4 o’clock tea, or as a midday snack.

Ingredients you need:

  • 2 and 1/2 cups of oats
  • 1/2 cup of peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup of dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup of white chocolate chips (optional)
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence
  • Vegetable oil or parchment paper

Recipe:

  • Peel 2 bananas and put them in a bowl and mash them into a fine paste
  • Add 1/2 cup of peanut butter and mix well
  • Add 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence in the fine paste and mix well.
  • Add 2 and 1/2 cups of oats in the bowl and mix using a spatula until it is well incorporated.
  • Add 1/4 cup of dark and white chocolate chips to the mixture.
  • Place parchment paper on the baking tray or use a brush to grease the baking tin with vegetable oil.
  • Using a spoon or an ice cream scoop, scoop the dough and roll it into a ball and place it on the baking tin and flatten it using a spatula on the baking tray, leaving 2 inches apart.
  • Preheat the oven for 5 minutes before baking the cookies
  • Bake them for 12 minutes at 350F
  • Place them on a rack or bowl and let them cool for 15 minutes before serving.
  • You can serve the banana and peanut butter oat cookies with a cup of coffee, tea, or a glass of juice. Bon appétit
