Have you ever prepared food and noticed the meal is very dry? You can prepare potato soup and have it with a meal and makes the food even more delicious. Potato soup requires few ingredients. Scroll down and check out the ingredients and the recipe to use.
Ingredients:
- 5-6 potatoes
- 2 big carrots
- 1 onion
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 tablespoon of black pepper
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 2 cups of water
- 1 beef cube
Recipe:
- Peel your potatoes and carrots.
- Rinse them.
- Put them in a cooking pot, add 2 cups of water.
- Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of black pepper and 1 tablespoon of salt in the cooking pot.
- Boil the potatoes and carrots for 20 minutes under medium heat.
- Put the potatoes, carrots together with the excess water in a separate bowl.
- Using the same cooking pot, put 1 chopped onion, grated garlic, and vegetable oil/ olive oil.
- Fry the onions until they look translucent.
- Add the potatoes, carrots, and excess water to the cooking pot.
- Mix well and sprinkle 1 beef cube.
- Cover the pot and let it simmer for 3-5 minutes.
- Turn off the heat.
- Rinse your blender with hot water.
- Put the potatoes and carrots in the blender.
- Blend it until it’s smooth, if it is too thick add 1/2 cup of hot water to smoothen.
- The soup shouldn’t be too thick or too runny.
- Serve your potato soup in a bowl or on the side of your main meal. Bon appétit!
