You want to prepare a quick lunch? Come let’s prepare mac cheese, which can be eaten alongside beef, chicken, mutton or vegetables for vegans.
Ingredients you need:
- 500g of macaroni- 5 people
- 1 litre of milk (4 cups)
- 2 tablespoons of margarine or butter
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese
- 4 tablespoons of cornflour
- 1 teaspoon of garam masala
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 4 cups of water
Recipe:
- Put 4 cups of water in a cooking pot and half a teaspoon of salt. Let it boil for 2 minutes
- Put 500 g of macaroni in the cooking pot let it boil for 3 minutes while covered.
- Drain the water.
- Take another cooking pot put 2 tablespoons of margarine or butter. Let it melt under medium heat.
- Put 4 tablespoons of cornflour whisk it and let it mix. Under low heat.
- Add 4 cups of milk (1 liter) in the pot.
- Mix it until it becomes thick.
- Add 1 teaspoon of garam masala, black pepper, and nutmeg to the mixture.
- Add 3/4 cup of grated cheese in the mixture and mix it until the cheese melts.
- Finally, add macaroni let it mix under medium heat for 3 minutes.
- Put the mixture in a baking tin and bake for 30 minutes under 375F.
