Sautéed vegetables are vegetables prepared with little fat or oil, they can also be called stir-fried vegetables. Our sautéed vegetables consist of broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and red cabbages. They can be served with protein and starch or just starch for vegans. It takes about 10- 15 minutes to prepare. Scroll down to check out the ingredients and recipe.
Ingredients you need:
- Broccoli
- Cauliflower
- Red cabbage
- 2-3 carrots
- 1 onion
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Olive oil/ vegetable oil
Recipe:
- Wash the broccoli, cauliflower, red cabbage, onions, carrots, and garlic before chopping them
- Cut the broccoli, cauliflower into medium pieces set them aside
- Peel the carrots (optional) and dice them into cubes
- Cut your onions into cubes and grate your garlic and set them aside
- Cut the red cabbage into medium pieces and set them aside
- Use a non-stick pan to fry the vegetables
- Put 1 tablespoon of olive/ vegetable oil on the pan
- Put the onions and garlic let them fry for about 2-3 minutes
- Add broccoli and cauliflower and mix everything together for about 2 minutes
- Add the red cabbage and mix
- Finally, put carrots and mix everything under medium heat
- Sprinkle 1/2 tablespoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of black pepper
- Let the vegetables cook for about 5-7 minutes before turning off the heat
- Your sautéed vegetables are ready, serve, and enjoy.
