Mac cheese

You want to prepare a quick lunch? Come let’s prepare mac cheese, which can be eaten alongside beef, chicken, mutton or vegetables for vegans.

Ingredients you need:

  • 500g of macaroni- 5 people
  • 1 litre of milk (4 cups)
  • 2 tablespoons of margarine or butter
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese
  • 4 tablespoons of cornflour
  • 1 teaspoon of garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 4 cups of water

Recipe:

  • Put 4 cups of water in a cooking pot and half a teaspoon of salt. Let it boil for 2 minutes
  • Put 500 g of macaroni in the cooking pot let it boil for 3 minutes while covered.
  • Drain the water.
  • Take another cooking pot put 2 tablespoons of margarine or butter. Let it melt under medium heat.
  • Put 4 tablespoons of cornflour whisk it and let it mix. Under low heat.
  • Add 4 cups of milk (1 liter) in the pot.
  • Mix it until it becomes thick.
  • Add 1 teaspoon of garam masala, black pepper, and nutmeg to the mixture.
  • Add 3/4 cup of grated cheese in the mixture and mix it until the cheese melts.
  • Finally, add macaroni let it mix under medium heat for 3 minutes.
  • Put the mixture in a baking tin and bake for 30 minutes under 375F.
  • Your meal is ready! Best served while hot. Bon appétit!
