Cheesy fries with bacon

Ingredients you need:

  • Potatoes
  • 1 cup of Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup of cheddar cheese
  • 4 strips of bacon
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • Salt
  • Vegetable oil

Recipe:

  • Peel potatoes, wash them, cut them into slender slices, and sprinkle 1 tablespoon of salt.
  • Put vegetable oil in a deep frying pan, preheat the oil for around 5 minutes before deep frying the potatoes.
  • Put the fries in portions to avoid overcrowding the deep frying pan.
  • Turn the fries and let them fry well until they become crunchy.
  • Use an oil strainer to remove the fries from the oil and place them on a kitchen towel to soak any excess oil. Put them aside.
  • Cut 4 strips of bacon into small pieces, chop 1 onion into small pieces and grate 3 cloves of garlic. Put them on a pan and fry them until the bacon turns golden brown, under medium heat. Don’t add oil because bacon is usually oily. If it sticks to the pan sprinkle some water.
  • Put the fries on a baking tin, grate cheddar at least 1 cup. Sprinkle on the fries.
  • Sprinkle the fried bacon and onion on top of the cheddar cheese.
  • Grate at least 1 cup of mozzarella cheese and sprinkle on top of the bacon.
  • Preheat the oven for 5 minutes before baking the cheesy fries.
  • Bake the cheesy fries for 20 minutes at 325F.
  • Serve the cheesy fries while still hot. This dish is very delicious and smells great as well. Enjoy your meal.
