Beef stew with red wine

Ingredients you need:

  • Cabernet Sauvignon wine (a glass)
  • 1/2 kg of beef steak
  • Black pepper
  • Garam masala
  • 1 beef cube
  • Soy sauce
  • Chilli flakes/ powder (optional)
  • Salt
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
  • Vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • Small piece of ginger
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 green pepper
  • Coriander leaves

Recipe:

  • Wash your meat first, boil the meat for 30 minutes. The amount of water should cover the meat to have broth to use it later.
  • Grate 3 cloves of garlic and 1 small piece of ginger, put in the meat add a pinch of salt and let them boil together. Cover the cooking pot and let the meat boil under medium heat.
  • Drain the excess water left after the meat boils and put it in a container to use it for later.
  • Add vegetable oil to the meat and fry it until it turns golden brown.
  • Add well-chopped onions and green pepper. Fry it together until the onions turn translucent.
  • Chop 2 tomatoes and add in the beef stew, sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of salt and mix it well. Cover it and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Add 1 beef cube, 1 tablespoon of black pepper, 1 tablespoon of garam masala, 1 tablespoon of chilli flakes/powder, and 2 tablespoons of tomato paste. Stir well and let the spice blend in the beef.
  • Add a glass of wine (Cabernet Sauvignon) and the broth you set aside. Mix well. Cover the beef stew and let it simmer for 3-5 minutes.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and sprinkle well-chopped coriander leaves, mix well and cover it for 2-3 minutes and let the soy sauce blend in the stew. Turn off the heat and serve the beef stew with your favourite carbohydrates dish. Bon appétit!
