Crepes

Crepes are a type of pancake that is very thin and light. They are very delicious, they are mostly served for breakfast. You can put fillings which can be fruits, meat or vegetables. The crepes we are going to prepare are plain but are served with fruits and ice cream. Scroll down to check the recipe and ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of hot water
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 scoops of unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • Olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 1 bowl of strawberries (optional)
  • Ice cream (optional)

Recipe:

  • Put 1 cup of hot water, 1 cup of milk, 4 beaten eggs, 2 scoops of melted unsalted butter, 3 tablespoons of sugar,1 cup of sifted all-purpose flour, and 1 teaspoon of salt in a blender.
  • Blender until it is smooth.
  • Pour the mixture into a bowl.
  • Use a non-stick pan, put 2-3 drops of olive oil in the pan heat it.
  • Put 1/2 cup of batter mixture in the pan.
  • Swirl the pan to spread the batter evenly in the pan.
  • Let it brown a little under medium heat for a few minutes.
  • Gently loosen the ends and flip the crepes gently using a spatula.
  • Place the crepes on a plate.
  • Let them cool then fold them before serving.
  • You can decorate them with sliced strawberries, a scoop of ice cream, and sprinkle icing sugar on top.
  • Serve the crepes with a glass of juice or your favorite cup of coffee or tea. Bon appétit!
