Baked potato wedges

Are you tired of frying potatoes and you want another way you can prepare potatoes at home? Come try out our baked potato wedges recipe. The potatoes come out crunchy on the outside and soft like mashed potatoes inside.

  • Potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of paprika
  • 1 tablespoon of garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon of oregano
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil/ olive oil

Recipe:

  • Wash the potatoes well using a small kitchen brush to remove dirt or any mud. Peel the potatoes but this is optional.
  • Cut the potatoes into medium sizes not too thin (they will cook faster) nor too thick (will take too long to bake).
  • Put the potatoes wedges in a big bowl.
  • In a small bowl mix your favorite spices, put 1 tablespoon of paprika, black pepper, garam masala, oregano, salt, or any other spices you prefer. Mix the spices
  • In a separate small bowl, put 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil/ olive oil.
  • Mix the spices and oil.
  • Pour the mixture into your bowl of potatoes.
  • Mix the potatoes and the spices until they are coated with the sauce.
  • Prepare your baking tray.
  • Place a baking paper or foil paper on the baking tray
  • Put the potato wedges one by one facing up, to bake evenly.
  • Preheat your oven for 5 minutes.
  • Bake your potato wedges for 50 minutes at 200 C.
  • Potato wedges are best served while hot. Serve them with a bowl of salad or your favorite stew. Bon appétit!
